Buyback Info

Course materials are bought back at up to 50% of new or up to 50% of used, depending on how the course material was purchased, and if the store has a need for the course material.  Other course materials are purchased for less by a used book wholesaler who then sells these course materials to other campuses throughout the country.

To stay in compliance with state requirements but still meet students needs, the college store has partnered with Nebraska Book Company to facilitate a daily 'no-hassle' buyback for students.  If you choose to use the 'no-hassle' buyback, your course materials are shipped directly to Nebraska Book Company and you will receive payment from them.  This is an alternative that is available at all times, but is especially designed for those students who cannot wait until the college store's buyback.  You may receive better return on your course material if you sell your course material at the college store's scheduled buyback during finals week.  You will need to go to our Sell Textbooks page to use this feature.
